February Boxycharm

I want to start sharing the products that I get in my monthly subscription box, Boxycharm. Not everyone gets the same products in each box. However, they usually have a couple items that everyone gets and then a couple that are different.

The box is $21 per month and you get 5 full sized items. I have tried other subscription boxes and this one is by far my favorite.

One of my favorite things about it, is that the products you get all complement each other. This month you got 2 single eyeshadows, a Z Palette and eye shadow brushes. Then, the lip product will go with the eye shadow colors.

If you want to sign up and use my link below I do get some credit for the Charm Shop.

Dr. Brandt – Microdermabrasion – $79

I was so excited to get this in my box this month. I have had a sample of it for a while, so I already knew I loved it. It’s an exfoliator that you only want to use max of 2x a week and at least 3 days apart.

Unlike a lot of exfoliators, it doesn’t have large particles in it that exfoliate. Instead, it has very fine and micro particles, almost sand like but not as rough. It makes me feel like I am polishing my skin. After I use it, my face feels baby soft!

Small Z Palette – $14

Included in the box was a small Z Palette that was made to look like the actual Boxycharm box. These are handy to have around and useful when traveling.

Royal & Langnickel – OMNIA Eye Kit – $29.98

I admittedly have a lot of eyeshadow and blending brushes, so at first  I wasn’t too excited about these. However, they have quickly become my go-to, everyday brushes.

I have hooded eyes which can make it difficult to use a rounded blending brush in my crease. The larger shadow brush in this kit can get right into the crease and blends out my transition shade beautifully.

The smaller brush in the kit works great to apply shadow on the lower lash line. It doesn’t blow it out too far and makes it look nice and smooth.

Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Bitten and Creme Brulee – $12

I already have a few of the Makeup Geek (MUG) single eye shadows and I was excited to get 2 more. Unfortunately, I already had Creme Brulee (medium sand color) and had to just keep it as a back up. Bitten, is a matte maroon shade that is really pretty. I would highly recommend these!

RealHer Moisturizing Lipstick – $18

I got this lipstick in the No Filter shade which is also labeled as a Deep Nude. I like the thought behind this brand. They want to inspire women to feel better about themselves and help women feel better. Every lipstick has an inspiration message on it (No Filter).

The lipstick was very creamy and moisturizing, it felt great on my lips. I even loved the shade on me, it wasn’t too dark of a nude.

Even with all of those great qualities, it didn’t work for me because of my Invisalign. Any creamy formula like that ends up all over my trays. Trust me, it’s 10x worse then just having a little lipstick on your teeth because it smears everywhere. I should be done with my Invisalign in a few months and I am going to try it again then.

Overall, this box had $152.98 worth of product in it. Now, that always sounds good, but the true test is going to be how much of that I really like and use. Just because a box is worth a lot of money in general, doesn’t mean it’s actually worth that much money to me.

Let’s total up the amount of the products that I actually like and use….$128.98. I took out the lipstick and the MUG shadow I already had. That’s still a great value!!
